Flow Preview
Overview
Turn everyday group chatter into a searchable spreadsheet. Every message gets read by AI, tagged with category, sentiment, priority and a one-line summary, and appended as a new row in your Google Sheet — so your team can review feedback, support issues and leads without watching the chat all day.
Who It's For
Perfect for community managers, support teams and beta programs running a busy Telegram group who don't want to scroll through hundreds of messages to find the two that matter. Instead of watching the chat live, your team checks one spreadsheet whenever it's convenient and sees every message already sorted by category, sentiment and priority, with an AI summary and a suggested next step attached. The bot stays silent in the chat itself — it logs, it doesn't reply — so it never gets in the way of a normal conversation.
Setup Requirements
- Should the bot log only messages addressed to it, or every message in the group?
- What should it be watching for: product feedback, support issues, sales leads, moderation risks, or something else?
- Which columns does your team actually want to see in the spreadsheet?
- Add your Telegram bot to the group you want to monitor.
- Decide what gets logged: it ships set to watch every message. To log only messages addressed to the bot, switch the trigger's visibility to "addressed" in the flow editor.
- If you're logging every message (the default), open BotFather and disable Privacy Mode for the bot — otherwise most messages never reach it.
- Connect Google Sheets, pick the spreadsheet and tab, and map the columns you want — for example received date, chat title, sender, message text, and the AI analysis.
- Before turning it loose on a busy group, review the AI prompt and adjust the categories to match how your team actually wants messages sorted.
Node Breakdown
- Someone posts a message in your Telegram group or supergroup
- The bot quietly reads it in the background — it never posts a reply, so the conversation carries on exactly as normal
- AI reads the message and works out its category, sentiment, priority, a short summary, and a suggested next action
- A new row lands in your connected Google Sheet with the raw message and the AI's analysis, ready for your team to scan
Details
Good to know
- It ships watching every message in the group by default. To actually receive every message (not just ones that @mention the bot), disable Privacy Mode for your bot in BotFather — otherwise Telegram only forwards messages that mention it, so most of the chat stays invisible to the log.
- Prefer to only log messages people direct at the bot? Switch the trigger's visibility to "addressed" in the flow editor instead.
- You connect your own Google Sheet during setup and choose the spreadsheet, tab and columns to write to — nothing is hardcoded.
- The bot never posts in the group itself. It only writes to your spreadsheet, so it adds zero noise to a conversation people are already having.
- The AI categories and prompt are editable in the visual editor — tune them to match what your team actually needs to see (product feedback, support issues, sales leads, moderation risks, or your own custom labels).
Keep in mind
- Don't expect every message to be logged unless Privacy Mode is off in BotFather — with it on, the bot only sees messages that mention it, no matter what the trigger is set to.
- The bot is designed to stay silent in the group on purpose — if you want visible acknowledgements in the chat, that's a deliberate change to make, not the default behavior.
